Process a credit card transaction with the GoDaddy Poynt Card Reader

GoDaddy Payments accepts all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Use the GoDaddy Poynt Card Reader to process your customers' credit card payments when they've got their physical card.

Note: Before you can use your GoDaddy Poynt Card Reader, you must first pair it to your mobile device.

1. Open the GoDaddy mobile app on your mobile device and create an order.
2. Tap Charge, and then tap Card Reader. If you want to manually enter the card information, tap Manual card entry on this screen.
3. Wait for your customer to insert, swipe, or tap their card or device.
4. After the transaction processes, wait for your customer to remove their card from the GoDaddy Poynt Card Reader, if applicable.
5. Hand your device to your customer so they can add a tip, if applicable, and sign.
6. Wait for your customer to choose how they want to receive a receipt (None, Email, or Phone).
